Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou : Bordeaux Grand Cru 2019 & 2022 wine vintages

David Kohl fondly recalls his recent visit to Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou, a high profile Grand Cru Classe vineyard in the St Julien appellation of Bordeaux, currently celebrating its 300 Year Anniversary. Most notably, Bruno Borie the charming & energetic 3rd generation owner provided an awe inspiring tour of the neo-classical estate, along with a tasting of the 2022 vintage which by all accounts reflects exquisite performance - - scores in the range of 97-99 points have been typical.
